Call To Action

From June 2nd, 2020

Our nation is in turmoil once again as we are coming out of the “Pandemic” and encountering Rioting, Looting and Racial conflict. This is a coordinated attack by the Dragon and his principalities and powers, and we must not allow it to continue. Salt needs to be tasted, Light needs to be seen and the people of God need to lift their voice and be heard.

In March of 2000 I had a dream I want to share now.

I Dreamed That I Was Floating In Space Far Out Among The Planets When I Saw A Group Of Spiritual Beings Flying Through Space Like Fish In A School. I Could Not Tell Weather They Were Angels Or Demons Or Another Creation. As They Flew We Could All Hear Sounds And Voices Of Men Coming From The Earth. It Was Loud Enough That It Never Seemed To Fade. The Lead Being In This Group Turned Around To The Rest And Said ” What Is It About This Creature That Is So Special That The Master Would Give Them A Voice In The Heavens” (The Implication Was A Voice To Effect The Heavens). End Of Dream

The interpretation was obvious to me: God has blessed us with the ability to intercede for things in both the natural and spiritual worlds. It is a wonder and amazement to the rest of creation that He has given us such authority. I tie this to the scripture which says:

“For the creation eagerly awaits the revelation of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility—not willingly but because of the One who subjected it—in hope that the creation itself also will be set free from bondage to decay into the glorious freedom of the children of God.” Romans 8:19-21

It’s the hearts of Gods people that need to change to bring restoration and peace to the nation. There is action to be taken by us for them all. Remember that God would have spared Sodom and Gomorrah if He had found just 10 righteous people in those cities. We carry a greater weight than those around us and our prayers can accomplish much.

Joel 2:12-17

12 “Yet even now” —it is a declaration of ADONAI— “turn to Me with all your heart, with fasting, weeping and lamenting.”
13 Rend your heart, not your garments, and turn to ADONAI, your God. For He is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger, abundant in mercy, and relenting about the calamity due.

14 Who knows? He may turn and relent, and may leave a blessing behind Him —so there may be a grain offering and a drink offering for ADONAI, your God.

Blow the Shofar

15 Blow the shofar in Zion! Sanctify a fast; proclaim an assembly. 16 Gather the people; sanctify the congregation; assemble the elders; gather the children, even those nursing at breasts. Let the bridegroom come out from his bedroom and the bride from her chamber.
17 Between the porch and the altar let the kohanim, ministers of ADONAI, weep, and let them say: “Have pity, ADONAI, on Your people. Don’t make Your heritage a scorn, a byword among the nations. Why should the peoples say, ‘Where is their God?’”

2 Chronicles 7:12-14

12 Then ADONAI appeared to Solomon at night and said to him: “I have heard your prayer and have chosen this place for Myself for a House of sacrifice. 13 If I shut up heaven that there is no rain, or if I command the locust to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among My people, 14 when My people, over whom My Name is called, humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their evil ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

James 5:16-18
16 So confess your offenses to one another and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous person is very powerful. 17 Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain. And it did not rain on the earth for three years and six months. 18 He prayed again, and the sky gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit.
